Stephen Wright

Stephen Wright joined Iselin Art Advisory in August 2016 as the company’s researcher. In particular, he has constructed databases of Limoges enamels, gilt bronze mounted vases, and hard stone objects.

Stephen took an MA in Medieval & Renaissance Studies at UCL where he focused on the origins of Italian print production. With a museum career behind him, he has worked independently in archives and research libraries in the UK, France and Italy, and has commercially translated Italian texts up to book-length manuscripts. As a member of the Furniture History Society, Historic Houses Association and National Trust, Stephen travels widely both in the UK and abroad, spending several weeks each year at his wife’s home outside Milan.
